Nation's economic development, government's priority: Minister Adhikari

Pokhara : Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari has said nation's economic development and prosperity are the first priorities of the government.
Speaking at a greetings exchange ceremony organised by the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) Pokhara metropolis-12 on the occasion of the Deepawali festival, the minister said the culture is the means of connecting people emotionally.
Tourists arrivals at home increased by 34 per cent in the first three months of the current fiscal year with the identification and development of new tourist destinations, he said, adding the ministry has emphasized on tourism infrastructure development.
CPN's standing committee member Somnath Adhikari (Pyasi) and central member Rajkaji Gurung expressed their hope the government would fulfill commitments it made before the people within the next five years.
Gandaki province state assembly member Prabha Koirala called on people to become aware of development activities. RSS
