Kathmandu : Rastriya Prajatanta Party (RPP) Chairman Dr. Prakash Chandra Lohani saw the Oli government faces three major criticisms.
Chairman Dr. Lohani expressed his short view on facebook staus tuesday.
He said, 'First, it has ignored rampant corruption in the country by party leaders and cadres at different levels in the country. Second, it has shown a distinct preference for feudal values in governance so that civil service employees are literally forced to entertain the financial interests of their political masters rather than the well-being of the population. Third, it has gone a long way in destroying the guard rails in a democracy that sustain the principles of constitutional checks and balances in the nation.'
He further said, 'In this context, it has openly challenged the decisions of the Supreme Court and seems to have abandoned its responsibility to the people in fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic. Naturally, people are disappointed, angry, and increasingly frustrated and this situation may lead to political turmoil in the days to come. It is remarkable that the PM seems oblivious to this looming crisis and seems to be living in a make-believe world where his only concern is cabinet reshuffle and his constant desire to completely dominate his colleagues in the party.'
