It was 1:45 or 2:00 A.M.

early in the morning, 3rd of June 2018,

when the toyota hiace landed me at biratnagar,

a pitch darkness,

and O' stranger, who were you?,

from where had you come?

for 3 hours, you provided me your company.

Together we sat at the Annapurna Suppliers Petrol Pump,

until the rain disturbed us,

then, shifted towards the bench,

a little further.

It was funny, Wasn't it?

The way we tored the posters on the wall,

and used it as our sitting mat.

Together we listened to the hymns of mosquitoes,

and chased away some few.

You were sad to learn about my lost phone,

and even called me a chainsmoker,

and once, you were trolled by my guardian angel,

who arrived a bit late,

and repeated your words.

Wasn't that cool?

You showed me many locations,

in the darkness,

and even with my poor eyesight,

I tried to visualize them.

Together we watched the hustling ambulances,

vehicles preparing for long routes,

till the first rays of sun shattered on us.

I had your number on my aunt's phone,

when I had called her once.

Should I apologize to you?

for we couldn't got formally introduced.

Brother, a poet can do nothing,

but make you immortal, on a piece of paper,

Where the tales of our times are gonna be read,

by the readers,

generations after generations,

Nevertheless, of my bad poetry,

we shall meet again,

Because, we are destined to meet again.
