Rimal's poems' collection 'Barpak' released

Kathmandu : An anthology of poetry, 'Barpak', by Senior Executive Editor of Rastriya Samachar Samiti, Shayam Rimal, was released Friday.
Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security Gokarna Bista released the book. The anthology is the compilation of 21 poems covering issues of irregularity in relief distribution, damages to the heritages, new opportunities invited by quake and others.
During the programme organized to distribute prizes founded by RSS Chapter of Press Chautari Nepal and release of the poems' collection, Minister Bista said that Rimal's creation could be a worth reading document for the future generation. On the occasion, Dipendra Adhikari commented on the poems of Rimal, saying Rimal had beautifully carved his poems by using cultural images.
Literary figures Ram Kumar Pande, RSS Chairman Kul Chandra Wagle, RSS General Manager Opendra Sharma, Deputy General Manager Surendra Nepali, Press Chautari Nepal Chairman Ganesh Basnet and Press Centre Nepal Chairman Maheshwor Dahal expressed their opinions on Rimal's book, messages of the poems, direction of Nepali society in the post-earthquake period and others.
