Daraz Nepal Hosted Seller Summit 2024 Honoring Seller Impact and Excellence

Kathmandu: Daraz Nepal, Nepal's leading online marketplace, hosted its Seller Summit on October 24th at Heritage Garden in Sanepa, Lalitpur. Themed “Empowering Sellers, Facilitating Growth,” the event aimed to honor and celebrate the dedicated sellers who form the backbone of the Daraz ecosystem.

During the event, Chief Guest, Industry, Commerce, Labour and Consumer Welfare Committee's Chairperson Honorable Abdul Khan emphasized the need to adapt with changing digital times. In anticipation of upcoming parliamentary discussions, the Honorable Chairman expressed his dedication to facilitating in-depth deliberations on e-commerce topics including the proposed E-commerce Bill. This commitment underscores his proactive approach in ensuring comprehensive dialogue and legislative progress in this dynamic sector.

Aanchal Kunwar, Managing Director of Daraz Nepal, acknowledged the pivotal role of sellers in Daraz's journey. “Daraz is successful because of all the hard work our sellers put in,” she said. Members of the Daraz leadership team also emphasized the importance of the seller ecosystem in e-commerce during the event and offered valuable insights into the collaborative strategies that have been instrumental in driving the platform's growth.

The highlight of the evening was the recognition and awarding of 18 outstanding sellers who have excelled in their endeavors on the Daraz platform, a testament to their dedication, innovation, and commitment to providing exceptional products and services.
