Madan Bhandari National Journalism Award, 2074 for Koirala

Kathmandu : Today's meeting of the CPN (UML) Central Publicity Department has decided to provide the 'Madan Bhandari National Journalism Award, 2074' to senior journalist and writer Kamal Koirala. 

Koirala has been recognised for shedding light on personality, and political activities of Bhandari, and the UML's People's Multiparty Democracy, through his articles, and writings, said the Department Secretary Bishnu Rijal. 

The award carries a cash prize of Rs 51,000 and a letter of felicitation. A selection committee coordinated by senior journalist Tirtha Koirala picked Koirala for the award. (RSS)
